Karly and Nick’s summer rain session at Akron Falls Park in Akron, New York. 

Karly has been a friend of mine for some years now. My family and I were traveling back to NY for a few weeks in July. She reached out right away once I knew the dates and booked a couple session in the park with her man. 

Karly wanted her and Nick’s session to be fun and playful, just like their relationship. Within minutes of getting to the park, it started to rain. These two didn’t miss a beat and embraced what the day gave us! As these things go, a grand shot of them in the rain-stippled creek and light peeking through the clouds is the jewel of this session. And the downpour did stop, so we ended with them sharing a few drinks together and dancing in the grass, a little soggy and so in love!

Despite the rain, Karly and Nick enjoyed every part of their session. I was able to capture their relationship in a storytelling way they will always have in their photos. Who’s ready to book an epic couple session?
