Beaver Island Beach Engagement, in Grand Island, NY

Ally’s mom works with my mom, and so she reached out right away when Ally and Aaron got engaged. They wanted to have a beach session while I was in town.  Ally grew up going to Beaver Island with her mom, so they knew this was the perfect spot for their session.  

We started by walking around the boardwalk and then moved down to the beach where they ran around in the sand, cuddled on a blanket, and waded around in the tide, me tagging along doing my thing. 

We ended the session by sending off a Japanese lantern with their wedding date written on it. The wind had it own plans, but we were able to capture some beautiful images with them and the glowing lantern. Think of something special to do at the end of your session. It could be something unique to you and your lover, or just an idea that strikes you as different for its own sake. No ideas? No worries - I’m full of them!
