Nikki and Kyle’s donut date night session at Five Daughters Bakery in Nashville, Tennessee. 

My husband took me to Nashville as an early birthday present. This was our first trip after having our two boys. I posted on a local Facebook page looking for a few couples to book a photo session while I was in town. Nikki and Kyle were one of them!

I found the cutest little donut shop in Nashville that I wanted to capture a date night session at. Nikki and Kyle’s first date was at a donut shop, so this was very fitting for them.

This session actually took place the day we landed! Before going to Five Daughters Bakery, my husband and I checked out Hattie B’s for some Nashville hot chicken. While we were there, the sky got dark and my husband offered to go get the car before the storm rolled in. Too late! The storm showed up and he ran into a wall of rain and hail. It was a sight to see! Luckily it cleared up just in time for the session.

We grabbed some donuts from the shop and got to it. These two were so great. What a fun idea for a date night session with your lover! Who doesn’t like donuts???
