Moss Denver Wedding Reception, in Denver Colorado

Heather and Brad eloped in Canada but wanted to come back to Colorado to celebrate with their family and friends. This is such a great idea if you want to elope but don’t want to miss out on having a party with the people that mean so much to you.

They hosted a cocktail hour with a first dance and speeches. Afterwards, I captured the couple outside the beautiful venue and in the groom’s suite to capture their vintage style. They then joined their guests for dinner and to dance the night away!

Heather is a local wedding planner herself, and it was a dream to work with her. Her assistant took over most of the planning and coordinating for the day. My favorite part of her day was Heather and Brad seeing the reception hall for the first time. Her face lit up and she was in love with how her vision came together, thanks to her florist and assistant. This is something she does every day for work, so to have someone else take over this role for her and for it to exceed her expectations was amazing to capture in real time. I loved all the subtle vintage details, from her grandmother’s pearls to the little charms she had on her wedding bouquet to honor departed loved ones.

This reception showcased the fact that this is your day and you can plan it any way you want!
